The film will be available in Italy in select cinemas on October 9, 10 and 11.
This formidable Ferrari car debuted in 1970 and won 4 Grand Prix. Precisely after the revolution started by the very same car, designed by Mauro Forghieri from1970-1980, the Scuderia Ferrari team scored an extraordinary series of victories: 37 races won, 4 wins in the World Constructors' Championship and 3 wins in the World Drivers' Championship.
Nearly 50 years after that achievement, “Ferrari 312B” is roaring into cinemas in EclairColor HDR, marking a new milestone as the first Italian production to be featured in EclairColor HDR. Brighter, sharper, with more depth of field, more density and more detail, the images produced by EclairColor HDR technology have more contrast and greater fidelity, better reflecting the colour originally intended by the creative teams. EclairColor is compatible with latest generation projectors from Sony Digital Cinema 4K and Barco, and adapts to all cinemas, from arthouses to the largest multiplexes. It combines the science of colours with the optimisation of select projection systems to achieve image projection of unprecedented quality in cinemas.
The Alamo Drafthouse cinema in Austin, Texas (USA), was recently equipped with the 100th EclairColor screen EclairColor-equipped cinema auditoriums are located across Germany (47) and France (46), the United Kingdom (3), Italy (1), Switzerland (1), Tunisia (1) and the USA (1).
A recent audience survey led by the French independent organisation L’Observatoire de la Satisfaction has revealed that the level of satisfaction among moviegoers after watching a movie in EclairColor is as high as 96.7%. Audience members spontaneously mentioned the beauty of the images, stating they are of superior quality, more colourful and brighter in comparison with a standard image. More importantly, according to the study, the projection in EclairColor has significantly increased the level of appreciation of the film.
